Known as the Oscars of classical music, the Awards celebrate exceptional recordings of the past year, as well as acknowledging artists, ensembles and labels that have made outstanding contributions to the classical recording industry. In its category the award-winner of 2022 was Concerto: Bartók/ Berg/ Beethoven Violin Concertos, performed by Frank-Peter Zimmermann and the Berliner Philharmoniker, conducted by Alan Gilbert; Daniel Harding; Kirill Petrenko.
